Our ” Temples and Tombs” program will be November 19th at 7:00. Come and enjoy the show!
Language Arts : Our class book for the week of Nov. 16th until Nov. 22nd is Mummies In the Morning , a Magic Tree House book. Ouestion and Answer sheets will be used as a part of the assessment.
Math : We are learning the stratagies for addition and subtraction. An example of this would be how to set up an addition or subtraction problems after reading a word problem. We have also worked on counting up from the greater number and counting back with subtraction problems. 2 digit addition and subtraction without regrouping will be introduced as well.
Word Work : We are testing on sight words for the week of Nov. 16th. Next week is a short week and we will do review work , but no spelling test.
Social Studies : We will finish Egypt and assess on Tuesday before Thanksgiving break. Please review the Egypt map and all of the interactive notes in the 5 subject notebook.
Science: We are finishing the study of Matter and will be studying ” Magnets” for the next six weeks. We will also be learning about animal habitats as well.
Science: We are finishing our study of ” Matter ” and will begin a unit on ” Magnets”.
